Dingli Shen, professor of international relations at Fudan University and vice dean of Fudan University’s Institute of International Studies, will present the Cabot Corporation-Xinsheng Zhang Lecture on “Cybersecurity in U.S.-China Relations,” Monday, Feb. 8, in the Clark-Fox Forum in Hillman Hall on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis.

Shen is also the founder and director of China’s first non-government-based Program on Arms Control and Regional Security at Fudan University.
Sponsored by the McDonnell International Scholars Academy, the Cabot Corporation-Xinsheng Zhang Lectureship Series was created in 2011. It offers the university community opportunities to learn about issues of global leadership, particularly in China.
The series was made possible by a gift from the Cabot Corp., honoring the leadership of Zhang, who left the company after 17 years to join Shell Aviation.
